Seeing Double

How's your weekend going?  Mine is going good so far.  It is cold here so I have not been out too much.  Instead I stayed in and made another card today.  This is the cutest little image from Mo Manning.  Or maybe I should say images.  This stamp is called Two Tutus.

I thought it was perfect for the Seeing Double challenge at Sweet Stampin'.  I have two images, two ribbons, and two gems.  I used SU Daffodil Delight as my card base and Making Memories English Garden as my DP.  Spellbinder  Rectangle and Fleur De Lis Rectangle die cuts were used.  The sentiment stamp is from Wild Rose Studio and I used circle punches to cut it out with.  The flowers and ribbons are from Michaels and the gems are from my stash.  I also used Crystal Stickles to give a little sparkle to the tutus, wings and wands.  And I used Liquid Pearls in White for the center of the flowers in their hair.

I also used a sketch from Sketch Saturday:

I colored my images with these Copic markers:

Skin - E000, E00, E01, R20
Hair - E31, E33, YR12, YR14, YR31

Thank You!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.  Ours was really nice.  It started on December 22 when my youngest son married a wonderful girl he knew in high school.  They hadn't seen each other in 10 or 11 years when they met at the airport in January waiting for the same flight.  They had a beautiful Christmas wedding.  We had Christmas celebrations from Sunday through Wednesday.  And this included going and celebrating with my 90 year old mom.  It was a wonderful time for all.

I decided to make a thank you card today.  Mostly because I wanted to say thank you to all my followers and blogging friends.  Your comments over the past year has really kept me motivated and I love reading them.  So, Thank You.

Christmas Tags

This is my second post today.  This time I am making Christmas tags.  And that is the new challenge over at Twisted Tuesday.  Your creation needs to be a tag or have a tag on it.  THE TWIST ~ What makes you smile. Show us on your creation. It can be a favorite stamp you have and cherish (use it on your tag), your collection of embellishments, stamps, etc, something crafty you received as a gift, etc....just don't forget to tell us and show us what it is that makes you smile when crafting!  This is the last challenge for this year.  The next challenge will start January 1.

What makes me smile is that all the paper came from my scraps.  I have such a hard time using it up, so this was a great way to use some of it.  These tags I made for my hubby.  He gives his co-workers a bottle of wine for Christmas.  Wine bottle is tagged on picture below.

Recipe:
Cardstock - All papers came from my scraps
Stamp - SU Teeny Tiny Wishes
